Set against a moonlit Paris skyline — the Eiffel Tower rising unmistakably in the background — this 2010 Soleil album opens La Croisière Jaune with "Un nouveau départ," promising exactly that: a fresh start. The cover by Arnaud Poitevin places a sharply dressed man and an elegant woman in a flowing green gown beside a vintage Citroën half-track, the whole composition radiating Art Deco glamour and the promise of adventure. Régis Hautière and Poitevin make an immediately compelling team, and if this first episode is any indication, the series has real style to spare.
