Le Journal de Spirou #25/1938

Oct 1938 · Dupuis · 0.85 BEF

In this 1938 issue of Le Journal de Spirou, a tense standoff unfolds as Captain Brandon surrounds a building, waiting for a signal from the second window on the second floor. Inside, Ramm grows suspicious of Noana after three of her bombs fail to detonate, prompting him to take matters into his own hands. Meanwhile, Reppoc shuts the blinds on a window marked "Now," unaware that Pat and his men will interpret the gesture as the long-awaited signal—just as footsteps echo up the stairs. Written and illustrated by Chester Gould, with a striking cover by Rob-Vel, this issue captures a moment of escalating suspense with quiet precision.
