In the dusty Southwest, Mickey and Goofy set out to track armadillos for the zoo, unaware that Pluto has stowed away in their vehicle. When their path crosses a pair of stranded robbers with a broken-down car, the desert heat and unexpected company turn the day into a wild mix of misadventures and tail-chasing chaos.

When Basile the fox sets out on a hunt, he stumbles upon a panicked Boniface the bear, who’s been chased up a tree by a pack of hounds. With quick thinking, Tic and Tac — the clever chipmunks — come up with a plan to save him, using a disguise to turn the bear’s backside into the face of a fearsome monster cat.
