In "Oncle Picsou contre le capitaine Nick [partie 1]," Scrooge sets out for the Gloomgurgle Straits, where his gold shipments from Alaska have been vanishing without a trace. There, he uncovers a chilling deception: the lighthouse keepers at Raider Nick's Reef are not guardians of the sea, but the Beagle Boys in disguise, using a ghostly rubber ship to scare off ships and steal their cargo. With Riri, Fifi, Loulou, and Donald at his side, Scrooge must unravel the mystery before the next shipment disappears.
