In "Onc'Picsou et la rivière d'or [partie 1]," Scrooge, driven to new extremes of miserliness by a parched money pile, is spirited away to a mountain cabin by Donald and the nephews for a much-needed break. There, as Dewey reads him the tale of "The King of the Golden River," the story begins to echo in strange ways—when a nearby waterfall starts flowing with gold, just as the legend foretold.
