Suddenly a wooden boy, he’s caught in a whirlwind of misadventures with Gideon and Foulfellow, sold to the traveling puppeteer Stromboli, and nearly trapped on Pleasure Island, where the Coachman mistakes him for a spy. With quick thinking and a clever wish, Donald swaps sizes with Jiminy Cricket and finally wishes to be a real boy again—only to wake up back in bed, wondering if the whole escapade was just a dream.
