About this Collection

In the shadow of the Himalayas, Angha—a young man born into the lowest caste—clings to a secret dream: a sister named Mithila who guides him with visions of a greater destiny. When he’s arrested by Haraska, the privileged son of a high-caste family, the dream follows Haraska into his own mind, where Mithila speaks of a bond that will change them both. Written by Makyo and illustrated by Bruno Rocco, with colors by Claude Legris, Le Jeu de Pourpre #1 opens with a haunting, dreamlike mystery that weaves fate and identity across class and belief. The cover, also by Bruno Rocco, captures the quiet intensity of this moment.
