Volume 6 of Motoei Shinzawa's beloved school comedy arrives from Black Box Éditions, and the cover says it all — a wonderfully chaotic ensemble of students, teachers, and at least one very excited Shiba Inu crammed together in a burst of expressive, rubbery energy. From the athletic tracksuit-clad girl to the rotund, exasperated-looking adults and the tiny chibi kids tumbling at their feet, the cast radiates the kind of cheerful pandemonium that has made this series such a joy. If you're looking for manga that wears its warmth and silliness on its sleeve, this 2016 edition is a very good place to be.
