Raphael Arce gains empathic abilities from the Lazarus Storm, which he uses to help people by taking away their painful memories. When he inadvertently absorbs the memories of Doomsday, J'onn J'onzz tries to absorb the memories into himself, but as a result Doomsday's psyche takes over J'onn's body.
