Lazarus Ledd #18
In "Doni di Natale," the festive chill of a snowy Christmas Eve wraps around a quiet church, where a ruthless rich man's indifference contrasts with the quiet dignity of beggars huddled in the cold. Amid the season's usual trappings—snow, silence, and the faint glow of candlelight—Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy find themselves caught in a curious twist of fate, while a mysterious, acrobatic figure known only as Gatta Ladra slips through the shadows, her intentions as elusive as the night itself. Written by Ade Capone and illustrated by Fabio Bartolini, with lettering by Giuliana Baiocco, the issue’s cover by Alessandro Bocci captures the story’s blend of whimsy and mystery in a 2500 ITL comic from 1994.
