“Escape from Laramie”

In "Escape from Laramie," Marshal Troop and Deputy McKay find themselves outmaneuvered when they release a prisoner only to discover he was part of a ruse by a gang posing as soldiers. With the escapee on the run and the gang now free to strike, the two lawmen must race across the frontier to stop them before it's too late. Written by Eric Freiwald and Robert Schaefer, with art and inks by Dan Spiegle, this 1974 western thriller delivers tense pacing and sharp storytelling in a 20-cent comic that captures the grit of the Old West.
