Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy take the plunge into the restaurant business when they buy a struggling café, convinced they'll turn it around with Stan's cooking and Oliver's service. What follows is a comedic disaster as their culinary incompetence drives away customer after customer—from beans that provoke flying plates to chicken that still has its feathers—until a cleaning fluid accident leaves the place in ruins. Just when all seems lost, an insurance payout arrives to save the day, though not quite in the way Stan and Oliver had hoped.

Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy are struggling cave dwellers in prehistoric times, dealing with a leaky roof and an upcoming rent payment in ivory tusks when they set out to hunt for triceratoes in a dangerous valley. Their expedition goes awry when they encounter a fearsome prehistoric creature—and the hunt quickly becomes a fight for survival as the monster separates the pair, leaving Oliver to decide whether to help his panicked friend or save himself.
