This is an anthology issue containing multiple stories. The lead story follows Laurel and Hardy as they search for a five-dollar bill dropped inside a red sofa, leading to comedic destruction of the furniture and discovery of a laundry bill instead. A secondary story features Joe Extra, a character obsessed with movie studios, who encounters a "Super-Dooper Studio" and a camera that repeatedly rejects him with a loud "NO." The final story shows Laurel and Hardy inheriting a circus from Uncle Jonathan and becoming its new owners, meeting with the circus manager to take control of their unexpected business.

Laurel and Hardy can't afford fight tickets, so they sweet-talk a stranger into watching the bout on his television set instead—but their host and his wife have other ideas about what's worth watching that evening. A simple night in front of the screen spirals into absolute chaos, leaving our heroes with a mess, a trip to the hospital, and a hard-won lesson about minding their own business.

What he doesn't expect is exactly what Miss Beane has in mind for him on set.
