“The Children's Hour”

In "The Children's Hour," Archie tries a new routine to beat Saturday boredom—rising early, surprising Midge with a kiss, and even unintentionally wrecking Reggie’s prized car. But his well-meaning changes only stir up chaos, leaving him on the run from both Moose and Reggie, and hiding in a tree, wondering if different was really better. Written by Dick Malmgren and illustrated by Al Hartley, with colors by Barry Grossman and letters by Bill Yoshida, this 1973 classic features Dan DeCarlo’s iconic cover art.
