Last of the Comanches #1

A group of ten men and one girl defend against an attack by Comanche warriors who have planted dynamite near a mission. The soldiers discover dynamite placed in a semi-circle outside the mission walls, with a fuse rigged to detonate, and must prepare for an assault by Black Cloud and his band of Comanches. Unable to withstand the deadly fire from the mission, the Comanches are forced to retreat, and the soldiers pursue them through the night. The issue also includes an unrelated story, "The Brown Bomber," depicting the early life of heavyweight boxing champion Joe Louis Barrow.
