Lassie #3/1965
In "Grottens hemmelighet," Lassie and the Martins uncover a hidden tunnel and pit while helping relocate Nigerian villagers to better farmland. When a witch doctor opposes the move, fearing he’ll lose his influence, his elaborate tricks and staged wonders begin to sway the villagers. As tensions rise, Lassie’s keen instincts and quiet courage help reveal the deception behind the witch doctor’s claims.
In "Røveren," a young boy and his dog face down a menacing bandit who ambushes them in the jungle. When the attacker lunges at them, the dog cleverly distracts him by hurling a paw paw, sending the bandit tumbling into a river where he’s nearly crushed by a wild water buffalo. Emerging soaked and furious, the bandit vows revenge on the boy, setting the stage for a tense showdown.
In "Den gamle ruinen," young Timmy and his dog Ali explore the countryside near Kusa, stumbling upon the forgotten ruins of Komba. There, they find Kimo hiding in a crumbling mosque, fleeing from the dangerous Mahaggis. When a fierce storm collapses part of the structure, trapping the trio, Lassie's keen sense leads Paul to their rescue, just as the Sultan and his men arrive to drive off the marauders.
