As Lantern City barrels toward its conclusion, issue ten delivers a striking cover painted by Benjamin Carré — a uniformed guard grips a wounded, red-haired figure while fires rage through the city's ornate industrial architecture behind them. The tension between these two figures, set against massive gear-like structures and a burning skyline, captures the steampunk series' atmosphere of uprising and desperation beautifully. Archaia and Boom! Studios have been delivering one of 2016's most visually arresting ongoing series, and this painted cover is a strong reminder of why.
