Part of Glénat's La Sagesse des Mythes, Contes et Légendes series, this 2023 release brings Chrétien de Troyes' classic Arthurian tale to the comics page with writer Clotilde Bruneau and artist Carlos Rafael Duarte. Paolo Grella's cover sets a grim, visceral tone — a battered knight in white armor, bloodied and defiant, stands atop a wooden cart while a crowd presses in around him and a dark-haired figure looks on with an unsettling smile. It's a striking visual entry point into the legend of Lancelot, the knight who endured humiliation in service of a higher duty.
