Swifty tells Lana and Clara that the Finegold Beauty Contest this year is for models and the winner is sure to get a part in an upcoming play. Needless to say both girls go after Mr. Finegold with gusto. Clara's tricks backfire on both of them because when she replaces Lana's photo with one of Mom Murphy, Finegold and the judges decide Mom would be just the one to boost sales, so they hire her.
