From Nathan Fairbairn and Matt Smith comes this second installment of Image's medieval horror series, and the cover alone makes a compelling case for what they're building together. A Crusader knight in white robes bearing a red cross stands sword-in-hand before a monstrous, gaping maw of dripping fangs — flanked by two younger figures who appear far less armored but no less determined. The contrast between the human figures' fragility and the sheer scale of the creature looming over them sets a tone that is equal parts dread and grim resolve.
