Dynamite's 2014 series puts a compelling new face behind the mask, and this third issue delivers one of its most striking covers yet. Lady Zorro stands center-frame in her crimson-and-black ensemble — cape, corset, and rapier in one gloved hand — while the other extends toward the viewer clutching a glowing skull, her masked gaze cool and utterly unintimidated. Cover artist Linsner captures a heroine who is equally at home with a blade and the macabre, making this issue hard to set back on the shelf.
