The story involves Lady Luck's characteristic combat and detective work as she tracks the suspect to an ice wagon and eventually 211 Bugle Street, where she discovers stolen gold hidden in a suitcase. In a secondary story, "Lassie, the Mischievous Imp," prospectors search for gold in the desert, with complications arising from a geologist's dinosaur fossil discovery and conflicts over a valuable gold hoard found near an abandoned mine shaft.
