Lady Killer #1

The French edition of Lady Killer arrives with a cover that perfectly captures the series' delicious contrast: a perfectly coiffed woman in a gorgeous pink dress and yellow gloves stands in a blood-splattered kitchen, mop in hand, entirely composed amid the carnage around her. Joëlle Jones and Jamie S. Rich's creation wears domesticity and danger in equal measure, and that tension is right there on the surface from the very first glance. This Glénat 2016 release is a wonderful entry point into one of comics' sharpest genre mash-ups.
