The second volume of Naoki Serizawa's La Main droite de Lucifer puts its compelling central tension front and center: a heavily tattooed man in a blue surgical cap pulls down his mask with a knowing look, his ink-covered arm a striking contrast to the clinical world suggested by the nurse standing watchfully behind him.
