La Loi d'Ueki #1

This first volume of La Loi d'Ueki introduces the story of Kousuke Ueki, a middle school student who is unexpectedly chosen by a celestial candidate to receive a special power: the ability to turn trash into trees. He must use this ability in a tournament-style battle against other gifted students, each with their own unique powers, to determine the next ruler of the celestial world. This volume collects the opening chapters of the series, setting up the rules of the competition and Ueki's initial confrontations.
