La Geste des Chevaliers Dragons #29

From the long-running French fantasy series La Geste des Chevaliers Dragons, this 2019 Soleil volume — Tome 29, subtitled "La gamine" — opens with a striking cover by Stéphane Perger: a lone red-haired young woman crouches at the center, surrounded by a circle of tall, otherworldly pale figures whose elongated forms loom over her in an atmosphere of quiet menace and mystery. Writer Ange teams with artist and inker Looky, with colors by Stéphane Paitreau, for what promises to be another richly imagined chapter in this beloved dragon-knight saga. Perger's hauntingly composed cover alone makes this one hard to set aside.
