La Foire aux Cochons #2

Ptiluc's satirical swine circus returns for a second round with La Foire aux Cochons 2, subtitled L'art d'accommoder les restes ("The art of making do with leftovers"). The cover sets the tone perfectly: a portly pig dressed in episcopal robes and mitre holds court over a group of smaller, hat-wearing piglets presenting offerings, all rendered in Ptiluc's wonderfully irreverent cartoon style against a rich red theatrical curtain. If the first volume left you squealing for more, this 2003 collection from Albin Michel's L'Écho des Savanes line delivers another helping of gleefully cheeky porcine absurdity.
