La Boite à musique #3

The third volume of Dupuis' enchanting La Boîte à musique series finds a wide-eyed young girl balancing precariously atop a glowing, fiery orb, swirling musical notes radiating outward as if the object itself is alive with sound. Behind her, tattered red curtains frame a moonlit, abandoned hall — the whole scene bathed in a cool blue that makes the orb's warm light feel all the more urgent and mysterious. Gijé's artwork beautifully captures that mix of wonder and unease as this "À la recherche des origines" chapter promises a journey into whatever secrets that magical sphere holds.
