Léo Loden and a stocky companion dash along a rocky Breton shoreline, the beam of a coastal lighthouse cutting through an overcast sky while a vessel looms in the misty background — all of it perfectly setting the mood for this nautical adventure subtitled Langoustines Breizhées. The moody seaside atmosphere, complete with an abandoned wooden dinghy in the foreground, gives this 2011 Soleil entry a wonderfully atmospheric edge. With art and story by Carrere, Arleston, and Nicoloff, it's a great-looking chapter in this beloved French detective series.
