Volume 24 of this beloved Belgian series finds poor Ducobu flat on his back beside a road-sign warning "Attention, École!" — a yellow-striped shirt, scattered pencils, stars, and candles suggesting he's already had quite the collision with the school year. Meanwhile, a cheerful girl in a red dress leaps energetically through the air in the background, blissfully unbothered by the chaos below.
