L'Effaceur #3
The third volume of L'Effaceur arrives with a grin-worthy premise telegraphed right on the cover: three mismatched characters crammed into an elevator — a cool, sunglasses-wearing figure brandishing a pistol on the left, a wide-eyed nervous fellow in the middle, and a large, gap-toothed brute in an orange shirt clutching something suspicious on the right. The tagline "À trop monter on se fait descendre!" sets the comic tone perfectly, promising the kind of absurd, escalating trouble that the series does so well. Published by Vents d'Ouest in 2004, with the creative team of Jenfevre and Richez, this is a fun slice of Franco-Belgian comedy that fans of the series won't want to miss.
