A white-haired woman in a striking yellow costume dominates the cover of this 1994 DC series entry, her wide grin and crackling pink energy suggesting someone dangerously in control — or dangerously out of it. Armored L.E.G.I.O.N. members lie scattered at her feet, clearly on the losing end of whatever "Dark Quark!" has unleashed. Barry Kitson's cover work gives the whole scene a kinetic, slightly unhinged energy that makes this issue hard to put back on the shelf.
