The fifth volume of Cazenove & Amouriq's comedic driving-school series, Auto et Colles, captures the chaos of French road-safety education in fine style. The cover shows an exasperated instructor brandishing a pointer at a wall of traffic signs — STOP, pedestrian crossings, roundabout warnings — while a wide-eyed student beside him looks utterly bewildered, and a classroom of drowsy, grinning learners fills the foreground. Published by Bamboo Édition in 2007 and bearing a "Lu et approuvé par les profs" seal of approval, this lighthearted bande dessinée promises plenty of driving-lesson mishaps with a warm, laugh-out-loud spirit.
