A compact, fierce-looking anthropomorphic figure in heavy tactical armor crouches before a circular porthole, cradling a helmet in gloved hands while a red cable trails across the floor — and through that porthole, a sunlit planet hangs against the darkness of space. Crisse's cover art for this 2003 Egmont Polska edition of Kukabura — subtitled "Projekt Równonoc" — balances intimate tension with the sheer vastness of the cosmos just beyond the hull. With Crisse handling both writing and art alongside co-writer Maria Mosiewicz and colorist Anyk, this Polish-language volume promises the kind of richly detailed science-fiction storytelling the series does so well.
