A collection of humorous comic stories featuring various characters and situations. "Gilbert the Gentle Gorilla" shows Gilbert becoming a Hollywood movie star and planning a trip back to Africa while interacting with a woman in a brown suit. "Buffalo Billy" follows a cowboy character and his rabbit companion Goldy on adventures in the frontier town of Tomerock, Arizona, with Billy making a deal to carry Goldy but becoming exasperated with the arrangement. Additional comedic vignettes feature slapstick humor and wordplay typical of the era's lighthearted comic book fare.
