This volume collects the final two years of George Herriman's legendary newspaper strip, Krazy Kat, from 1939 to 1940, featuring the surreal antics of Krazy, Ignatz Mouse, and Officer Pupp in Coconino County. The title references one of Ignatz's creative brick-throwing schemes, as the strip's poetic language and shifting landscapes reach their peak before Herriman's death in 1944.
