Korak #40

Korak, riding his giant eagle through the jungle skies, accidentally causes a plane to crash in the dense wilderness. The survivors, it turns out, are fugitive bank robbers who now depend on Korak to guide them back to civilization.

In "Slavene i Chango-gruvene," Korak discovers that the friends of the city of Tschef have been enslaved by the Chango people, forced to labor in a diamond mine. With a newly acquired machine gun, the Chango keep the slaves under control while they toil deep beneath the jungle floor.

In "Broen," Korak and Dr. Smith face a desperate race against time as the doctor must reach the mountains to halt a spreading epidemic. A raging river cuts off their path, and with no time to spare, Korak builds a makeshift bridge—risking his life to save others, yet refusing any thanks.
