Three fierce figures stand their ground against a churning inferno on this Marvel Premiere Edition hardcover — a fanged warrior in dark armor, a sharp-eyed woman with flowing violet hair and a sweeping cape, and a smaller, hooded companion clutching what appears to be a mechanical orb. The cover art by Humberto Ramos and inker Carlos Cuevas crackles with kinetic energy, the fiery background pressing in around the trio as though the world itself is closing in on them. Originally a Soleil production brought stateside by Marvel in 2011, Kookaburra K offers an adventure with genuine European flair and a cast that clearly knows how to hold the line.
