Know Your Station #3

Sarah Gailey's sci-fi thriller series continues with this third issue from BOOM! Studios, and Liana Kangas's cover sets an unmistakably tense tone. A composed woman in a uniform stands with arms crossed, facing a ghostly row of figures rendered in warm, semi-transparent hues — one splattered with blood, another reduced to a bare skull, a third clutching what appears to be viscera — their haunting presence looming behind her like echoes of violence she refuses to flinch from. It's a striking, unsettling image that makes a strong case for this series as one of 2023's more quietly compelling reads.
