This anthology issue contains two main stories. "Deed-a-Day Danny" follows the Scout helping a man get vegetables onto an airplane at an airport, which Danny inadvertently causes to be shipped away instead, leading to confusion with a dehydration works and a climactic battle over the vegetables between Danny and a woman at a plane. "The Bracebutton Jewels" depicts a Colonel and his associates attempting to retrieve stolen jewelry, with complications arising when Billy gets caught in the middle, leading to a chaotic pie-filled confrontation that ultimately results in the recovery of the Bracebutton heirlooms. Additionally, the issue features a pirate adventure story involving Long John Silver's treachery, where Jim Hawkins finds himself caught up in mutiny aboard a ship at sea, and a separate adventure featuring Sexton Blake and Hoo Chow working to save prisoners from a fortress using a television screen and rescuing Hoo Sung and Bert Smithers from danger.
