"Our Crazy Broadcasters in 'Woofy Spoils the Works!'" follows Squire Briggs as he is dunked in a pond and covered in green slime by a mischievous dog, leading the villagers to pursue him in retaliation. "The Treasure Hunt on Puzzle Island" features two brave boys, Jack Morland and Tom, who undertake their Uncle Jim's challenge to find a hidden treasure on an island populated with wild beasts and mysterious blowpipe-wielding enemies. The issue also includes "Bob's Your Uncle," a humorous strip about an uncle's lawn-mowing contraption gone awry, and "Deed-a-Day Danny—The Big-Hearted Scout," in which Danny helps Professor Bigbrane test a non-explosive powder that predictably explodes.
