The second volume of Klaw arrives with a striking cover by Joël Jurion, showing a determined young figure tearing through the page itself with sharp, claw-like nails — and through those jagged rips, a vivid menagerie of fantastical animal spirits peers back. The tension between the human and the wild is right there on the surface, making "Tabula Rasa" feel like a story about something fundamental being torn open and remade. With Antoine Ozanam scripting and Jurion handling both pencils and inks, this 2022 Daedalus release looks like a visually inventive series hitting its stride.
