The cover captures the pair in typically chaotic good humor, sitting together amid a drenching explosion of water from garden hoses on either side, with Rudi gamely sheltering under a little umbrella. A wonderful showcase of the warm, gently absurdist charm that made this East German comic strip such an enduring favorite.
