KISS / Vampirella #1

Dynamite's crossover mashup of rock royalty and horror royalty kicks off here, with a cover by Juan Doe that makes an immediate statement: Vampirella looms large in bold reds and golds, fangs bared and eyes blazing, while the four faces of KISS — each wearing their signature stage makeup — peer up from below her imposing presence. It's a striking visual collision of two worlds that belong together far more than you'd expect, rendered in a graphic, almost poster-art style that feels right at home in 2017. Writer Chris Sebela and artist Annapaola Martello promise a series with serious attitude right from this first issue.
