KISS The Army of Darkness #5

The fifth and final issue of this Dynamite crossover brings together two of horror-entertainment's most beloved properties, and the cover by Kyle Strahm says it all — Ash Williams grins on the left while the Demon's face (complete with that unmistakable tongue) looms on the right, with the grotesque, leering Necronomicon Ex-Mortis front and center between them, its tentacles curling across the composition in sickly green. Strahm's linework gives the whole image a wonderfully creepy energy that feels equally at home in both franchises. If you've been following this wild 2018 mashup, this is the issue to close out the collection.
