Kiss: Psycho Circus #6

The cosmic mayhem of Kiss: Psycho Circus continues in issue #6, "Smoke & Mirrors, Part 3," where the cover by Angel Medina and Kevin Conrad commands immediate attention. Dominating the image is a massive, white-faced figure rendered in striking black-and-red KISS makeup, with smaller armored and painted figures scattered across a backdrop of asteroids and swirling space — the whole composition pulsing with an otherworldly, arena-sized energy. Image Comics was delivering something genuinely ambitious with this series in 1998, and this cover alone makes a compelling case for it.
