Kiss: Psycho Circus #3
In "The Nature of the Beast," writer Brian Holguin and artist Angel Medina craft a chilling descent into guilt and retribution as Henri Moncrete, a man on a violent mission, stumbles upon the derelict Psycho Circus grounds. There, the twisted rides awaken with memories of his past crimes, and the spirits of his victims summon the Beast Master—a lion and tigers—whose judgment is both merciless and inevitable. Cover by Michael Golden captures the eerie atmosphere of this haunting tale, where every shadow holds a reckoning.

The stolen car Henri Moncrete is driving breaks down on a lonely stretch of highway on his way to kill two small-time thugs. Moncrete stumbles onto the abandoned psycho circus grounds. Spirits begin to turn the circus rides as flashbacks of Moncrete's gruesome murders occur. Fleeing the circus grounds, Moncrete encounters the Beast Master with the remaining three spirits, looking as a lion and tigers. Paying for his violent past, he is morphed into a helpless cat where he is mauled to near-death. The two thugs chance upon the wounded, near-death cat, and decide to kill it and end its misery.
