The third issue of W. Maxwell Prince and Tyler Jenkins's strange, sun-bleached odyssey from BOOM! Studios arrives with one of its most quietly unsettling covers yet — a lone figure in a full orange hazmat suit and gas mask walks along a tropical shoreline, carrying a case and a slim object, rubble and a solitary palm tree framing the scene behind them. Tyler Jenkins's loose, watercolor-washed linework gives the image an eerie, dreamlike calm that perfectly suits a series built on disorientation and mystery. If the first two issues pulled you in, this 2020 entry makes it abundantly clear that wherever "Nowhere" is, it's getting stranger by the issue.
