King in Limbo #3

Volume 3 of Ai Tanaka's King in Limbo plants its two leads squarely in front of San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge — a grinning, broad-shouldered man in a yellow sweater with a knife holster at his hip stands arms-crossed and confident, while a white-haired companion leans back against him looking considerably less amused. The contrast between their energy is immediately charming, and the sun-bright Bay Area backdrop gives the whole image a breezy, adventurous feel. If you've been following this series from Kodansha USA, volume 3 looks like a very satisfying next chapter.
