Volume 3 of You Chiba's Kindergarten Wars keeps the series' wonderfully absurd premise in full swing, with a determined dark-haired young woman front and center, gripping what appears to be a long weapon with cool, unwavering focus — all while an almost comical storm of grenades rains down around her. A dainty teacup and a cheerful heart-shaped charm float incongruously amid the chaos, while a trio of rambunctious little kids tumbles in the corner, perfectly capturing the show's collision of high-stakes tension and kindergarten-level mayhem. Published by Ki-oon in 2024, this third volume promises more of the delightfully off-kilter energy that makes this shonen series so hard to put down.
